How We Test

Our review process is designed to be systematic, repeatable, and honest. Here is exactly how we evaluate products and produce our buying guides.

01

Trend & Market Research

Our Trend Agent monitors Google Trends, Reddit, and Amazon Best Sellers daily to identify products with rising consumer interest. We prioritise categories where people are actively seeking buying advice.

02

Product Shortlisting

Our Scout Agent identifies the top-rated products on Amazon for each keyword — filtering for products with at least 50 reviews and a minimum 4.0-star rating. We shortlist up to 5 products per category for detailed evaluation.

03

Spec & Feature Analysis

Each product is evaluated against a category-specific criteria set: for air fryers, we assess wattage, capacity, ease of cleaning, and cooking evenness. For laptops, we assess CPU benchmarks, battery life, build quality, and display quality.

04

Value Assessment

We compare each product's performance against its price bracket. A budget product scoring 7/10 against similar budget options is rated differently to a premium product scoring 7/10 against flagship alternatives.

05

Editorial Scoring

Products are scored out of 10 across three dimensions: Quality (build, performance, features), Value (price vs. performance), and Reliability (return rate, longevity data, brand reputation). The overall score is a weighted composite.

06

Content Freshness

All articles are flagged for review after 90 days. Our Audit Agent checks for: new products that have launched in the category, price changes, availability changes, and updated consumer review data. Articles are re-tested and updated accordingly.
